Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is a type of edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp (reddish pulp) of the fruit of the oil palms, primarily the African oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) and to a lesser extent from the American oil palm (Elaeis oleifera) and the Maripa palm (Attalea maripa). It is naturally reddish in color because of a high beta-carotene content.
Product Introduction:
Composition: Crude Palm Oil (CPO) contains approximately 50% saturated fats and 50% unsaturated fats. It is rich in natural antioxidants such as Vitamin E tocotrienols and tocopherols.
Main applications:
Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is widely used in food products, such as cooking oil, margarine, and frying fats. It is also used in non-food products such as cosmetics, soaps, and detergents. Additionally, CPO serves as a feedstock for biodiesel production.
